Who am I?

Well, good question! I am a young designer, based in the South of England, and have been creating since I was a nipper. Only now instead of creating a mess, I make cute, neat products, all designed and made by me. Why Embroidery? And where did I learn? It was during my final year at College, where I was doing an AVCE (Advanced Vocational Certificate in Education)in Art & Design, at Guildford, that I became more and more drawn to stitched work, both by Hand and Machine. It was then in my last couple of months of my course, that I knew I wanted to learn traditional Embroidery, why? It was new to me, I love to create using my hands, and it just felt right. I was lucky that I was then accepted in 2002 to become an apprentice at the Royal School of Needlework, based at Hampton Court Palace. Which during there intensive three-year Apprenticeship I learnt the fine art of Embroidery, I graduated in September 2005.
